Kakching, March 02 2025: Under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA), District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Thoubal arid Legal Aid Clinic, Sugnu jointly organised a one-day legal awareness programme on Sunday at Tangjeng Khunjao community hall under Sugnu assembly constituency.

The programme was attended by Pangantabi Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee chairperson Ningthoujam Indibala as chief guest and Tangjeng Khunjao Community Hall Relief Camp Committee president Moirangthem Khoimu as president.

While Sugnu police station OC Md Riaj Khan, Mangjing Youth Development Association Relief Camp Committee convener Ningthoujam Kumar, Tangjeng Khunjao Community Hall Relief Camp Committee secretary Moirangthem Open were guests of honour.

As the resource persons, advocates Chongtham Manishwar spoke on 'FIR/Bail/Your Rights when arrested' and B Prem Sharma on 'Benefits under victim compensation schemes'.

As part of the function, stationery items were distributed to students staying in relief camps set up at Tangjeng Khunjao and Mangjing.
