SKL celebrates 8th foundation day

Thoubal, March 29 2025: Salaai Kanba Lup (SKL) celebrated its 8th foundation day at Thoubal Sabantongba Awang Leikai community hall on Saturday.

The foundation day celebration was attended by SKL chairman Leichombam Gopal, vice chairmen Leishangthem Inaocha, Angom Malemkhonba and Ningombam Indralal, founder president Angomcha Ningombam Puthiba, advisor Sapam Shyamjai Meitei and Thoubal Municipal Council Ward No 13 caretaker councillor L Ibotombi as presidium members.

Members of Federation of Haomee, World Meitei Council, Meitei Council Moreh, Meitei Society Churachandpur, Committee on Protection of Meitei Victims Moreh, Thoubal Apunba Lup and AT Unit 1 Thoubal also attended the event.

Floral tributes were paid to a portrait of the founder chairman of the organisation Jugindro Akoijam and observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
