Imphal, October 27 2024: The armed Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA), Kangleipak extended revolutionary salute and condolences to three cadres of RPF/PLA and PREPAK (Pro) who laid down their lives on October 23 in a gun-battle against forces scheming to divide Kangleipak/Manipur and suppress the revolutionary movement.

According to a SOREPA statement, 'Captain' Oinam Gulu alias Babu, son of Oinam Kunjp and Pishak of Kadamtala, Jiribam of the RPF/PLA, and 'Captain' Wahengbam Sopaiba alias Sharatkumar, son of Deva and Memcha of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai and 'Lance Corporal' Nongmaithem Nongdon alias Bonysana, son of Raju and Sangita of Wangkhei Angom Leikai, both of PREPAK (Pro), were slain in the fierce gun-battle.

Their supreme sacrifice for the sovereignty of motherland 'Kangleipak'Manipur' shall instil spirit of bravery and courage to revolutionaries having set a clear example to the people to fight for sovereignty, maintained the SOREPA statement, adding that the revolutionary trio sacrificed their lives for the future generations.
