Illegal migrant workers sent back

Imphal, May 27 2013:
Chairman of Federation of Regional Indigenous Society (FREINDS), Jiri Branch has thanked the staffs of Jiri Foreigner check post for helping volunteers of the Federation in checking entry of illegal migrants into Manipur.

In a statement, Omen Khuman, Chairman of FREINDS, Jiri branch informed that after staffs posted at Jiribam Foreigner check post and volunteers of Jiri branch of FREINDS sent back foreigners who were trying to enter Manipur without proper documents, altogether 16 illegal migrant workers were rounded up and sent them back to their respective home states today.
