SK College celebrates 44th foundation day

Bishnupur, July 26 2025: The 44th Foundation Day of S Kula Women's College was celebrated on Saturday at the college's indoor hall.

The event was jointly organised by the College Foundation Day Organising Committee and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).

The function was attended by Nambol Municipal Council caretaker chairperson Gh Basanta Singh and S Kula Women's College Nambol principal Dr RK Lokendra Singh as chief guest and president respectively, while Directorate of University and Higher Education, government of Manipur officer on special duty (OSD) Dr Wahengbam Robindro Singh, Organising Committee College Foundation Day convenor K Somorjit Singh, IQAC S Kula Women's College coordinator Dr S Sovachandra Singh were the guests of honour.

Addressing the gathering, Dr RK Lokendra Singh stated that S Kula Women's College has grown into a well-established institution over its 44-year journey.

He credited the college's progress to the dedicated efforts of its governing body over the years and the hard work of its faculty and staff.

He also noted that the college has achieved NAAC accreditation with an A+ grade.

Dr Lokendra also appealed to both teaching and non- teaching staff to continue contributing towards further development of the institution.
