IEI Manipur State observes 16th Establishment Day

Imphal, April 26 2026: The Institution of Engineers (India), Manipur State Centre celebrated its 16th Establishment Day with a formal ceremony held at its seminar hall within the Government Polytechnic Campus in Takyel.

The event was graced by several prominent dignitaries, including Soubam Ibopishak Singh, Chairman of Manipur Electricity Regulatory Commission (MnREC); Soibam Tampha Singh, Chairman of IEI Manipur State Centre; Dr Thokchom Suresh Singh, Principal of Manipur Institute of Technology (MIT); and Likmabam Shamungou Singh, Principal of Government Polytechnic College.

The celebration was supported by sponsors including M/S Pisatao Construction Private Limited, Emoinu Constructions, and Chongtham Traders Private Limited, Guwahati.

In his address, Khundrakpam Nimo Singh, secretary of IEI Manipur State Centre, emphasized the institution's commitment to the engineering fraternity, noting that this annual event serves as a platform for the Manipur State Centre to support and showcase essential engineering works and initiatives within the state.
