MP Leishemba Sanajaoba bats for policy to guide youth

Rajya Sabha MP Maharaj Leishemba Sanajaoba has stated that government needs to enact a policy to guide emerging youth to the right path and make them reliable members of the society.
Maharaj Leishemba Sanajaoba stated this at the closing programme of the 1st batch security training of the Homeland Group at MB College, Palace compound, here, on Saturday.
Attending the event as chief guest, Leishemba Sanajaoba said emerging, youth must shoulder their responsibilities and dedicate themselves to the motherland regardless of from wherever they live or work and stand at any platform.
Instead of asking what the motherland has done foe them, youth should ask for what they have contributed for their motherland, he said, adding that youth have great role to play in leading a society to the path of development.
According to Leishemba Sanajaoba, youth need to be provided jobs suited to them and Manipuri society could join the global race of development if the job policy is implemented successfully.
He said that scores of youth in Manipur remain jobless despite getting higher education and they must be shown the path to self-employment and other employment opportunities.
He then lauded Homeland Group for providing security training to youth and make them job opportunities.
The event was also attended by Homeland Group director Rajkumar Bablu Singh, social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram, Manipur police traffic control SP Wungpam Kasar, Manipur Fire Service director L Nabachandra Singh, Ningthoujam Anilkumar of CAU and MB college principal professor RK Hemanta.
Homeland Group director Rajkumar Bablu Singh said that 50 trainees took part in the 1st batch security training of the group and they have been trained to become security guard.
All the trainees have got job outside Manipur and they will serve as security guards at MNC, shopping malls and hotels, he said and stressed the need for establishing security guard training centre in Manipur.
