PREPAK (Pro) condoles death of three cadres

The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak-Progressive (PREPAK-Pro) has condoled the death of three cadres of PLA and PREPAK (Pro), who were killed in a gunfight near the India-Myanmar border.
In a statement, the PREPAK-Pro informed that 'Apunba Yawol Lanmee', a joint team of KCP, KYKL, PREPAK, PREPAK (Pro), RPF/PLA and UNLF was on an operation to bust a hideout of KNF (B), and Indian security forces and protect the territorial integrity of Manipur.
The statement alleged that KNF (B) is an armed organisation pursuing the goal of creating separate Kuki nation by bifurcating both the neighbouring countries with active support of the Government of India.
During the operation on Wednesday morning around 5, PLA's captain Oinam Gulu alias Babu, son of O Kunjo and O Pishak; and PREPAK (Pro) Red Army's captain Wahengbam Saratkumar alias Sopaiba, son of W Deba & W Memcha of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai, and lance corporal Nongmaithem Boneysana alias Nongdon, son of N Raju & N Sangita of Wangkhei Angom Leikai were killed.
The statement called the three martyrs brave sons of the soil who laid the foundation of unity.
PREPAK (Pro) also shared the grief and pain of the bereaved families while asserting that courage of the three will always remain as a guiding force in their revolutionary movement.
