NPO extends gratitude

Senapati, October 18 2026: The Naga People's Organisation (NPO), Senapati, expressed their gratitude to the Senapati District Police for donating twenty blankets to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) who are taking shelter at the Emesiiphro Relief Centre, established by the NPO, Senapati, in collaboration with the District Administration, Senapati.

NPO in a press release expressed discontentment that the IDPs taking shelter at Emesiiphro relief centre are deprived of assistance and support from the State Government since it has not been officially recognised as a relief centre by the State Government despite repeated appeals.

The relief centre is currently managed through the generous contributions and support of various organisations, churches, the Assam Rifles in the district, families, and individuals who have come forward to assist those affected during this difficult period.

The Naga People's Organisation on behalf of the Naga people of Senapati, once again conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the Senapati District Police for their concern and generous contribution for the people in need.
