National flag hoisted at Moirang Kangla

As part of the celebration of 78th Independence Day of India, the tricolour was hoisted at the Kangla within the historic INA Complex in Moirang.
The ceremony was conducted by INA Martyrs Local Advisory Committee convenor Dr Y Modhu and INA War Museum cum Library curator Dr L Sadhana Devi.
Dr Modhu noted that the tricolour was first hoisted at the INA Complex by Colonel Saukat Ali on April 14, 1944.Informing that the national flag was hoisted in continuation of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, an initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he also highlighted the significance of hoisting the tricolour at the historic INA Complex.
