Imphal, July 15 2021:
Eastern Liangmai Naga Chief Chairman Association (ELNCCA) has congratulated Dr RK Ranjan Singh on his induction as a minister of state for Education and External Affairs in the Union cabinet.
ELNCCA, in a release, said this has been possible because of the 'able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi' .
Opining that Modi's concern and affection for Northeast India has been proven with such deed, it said: "As Modi felt that Northeast India is vital for Indian engagement with ASEAN, he piloted Act East Policy.
And now we have realised his vision and reaping the fruits in our region".
The Association also asserted that no other Prime Minister had ever given so much importance to Northeast India like Modi does.
The ELNCCA said it will continue to repose its faith in the able and visionary leadership of Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah for all round development and special focus in the hill areas of Manipur.
The Liangmai body also noted that as central government works sincerely for the development of Manipur, it is progressing with the rest of the country under the leadership of chief minister N Biren Singh.
"We cannot thank Modi enough for his love and affection towards the people of Manipur", the ELNCCA said.
"He is nothing less than a blessing from Almighty God during this trial time.
It is our hope and faith that Dr Ranjan Singh will usher in good governance and ensure quality education in the entire region" .
