Imphal, February 14 2025: The five-day review and editorial meeting for the 76th issue of 'Gyan Garima Sindhu', a UGC-CARE list journal, organised jointly by Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology and Manipur University Department of Library and Information Science concluded on Friday.

In a release, Department of Library and Information Science informed the meeting was attended by head of department Prof Ch Ibohal Singh as local coordinator cum expert, while MU former dean of humanities Prof Nahakpam Aruna, Department of Hindi professor Elangbam Bijaylakshmi, Manipuri Department's Dr Chirom Rajketan and research scholar Ningombam Nando Singh were the experts.

Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology assistant director (subject) Chakpram Binodini devi and assistant scientific officer Inderdwip also took part in the meeting.

Thirteen Manipuri essays about the usage of different regional languages of India in the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 were reviewed and selected for the journal, the release continued, adding that the special issue of the journal 'Gyan Garima Sindhu' will be the first issue in Manipuri published by Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology under Ministry of Education.
