United Committee Pallel organises memorial ceremony to honour martyrs

Kakching, September 08 2025: The United Committee Pallel organised a memorial ceremony to honour the martyrs who laid down their lives during the Pallel incident of September 8, 2023 at Pallel Maning Leikai community hall today.

Floral tributes were offered to the martyrs during the 2nd memorial event of the Pallel incident.

Speaking on the occasion, Moirangthem Jiban, convenor, UCP said that the quiet village of Pallel was shaken by the violent events of the day.

He said that UCP in collaboration with other organisations held the memorial ceremony to pay homage to the martyrs and everyone who suffered injuries in defence of their motherland.

Locals of Pallel attended the event and paid their respects.
