Thoubal College begins student induction programme

Thoubal, July 06 2026: Thoubal College on Monday commenced a three-day Student Induction Programme for newly admitted BA and BSc first-semester students at the college's multipurpose hall.

The inaugural function was attended by Principal A Nabachandra Singh as the chief guest, Thoubal College Teachers' Association (TCTA) president Dr N Ibobi Singh as the president, and IQAC Coordinator Dr L Akendrajit Singh as the guest of honour.

NEP Coordinator S Janendra highlighted the objectives of the induction programme and the importance of familiarising students with the academic environment and campus facilities.

Faculty members from various departments also addressed the gathering on different academic and student-related topics.

Newly admitted students were taken on a guided tour of the college campus, where they were introduced to key facilities, including the Fitness Centre, Library, Swimming Pool, Basketball Ground and Jubilee Hall.
