Imphal, March 06 2025: Neorobos Private limited and JNV, Umathel Kakching jointly organised a career counselling session under the Prime Minister Schools for Rising India (PMSHRI) at the JNV on Thursday.

The session conducted with JNV librarian Soram Bijendra and Neorobos BDM Karam Ashinikanta as programme co-ordinators had boxer-turned police inspector Sarjubala Samjetsabam, Manipur Technical University's Mechanical Department assistant professor Moirangthem Anebushan, and The People's Chronicle crime reporter Sagolsem Bigyan as the resource persons.

The resource persons spoke on topics related to sports, journalism and mechanical engineering.

Inspector Sarjubala said that timely guidance will help the students become successful in their future life.

She also emphasised the importance of sports, while urging parents/guardians to support their wards' career choice.

Sagolsem Bigyan explained importance of journalism, which is the fourth pillar of democracy, and the need to strengthen the same.

Students who opt for journalism would be able to make significant changes to the society, he added.

Later, an interaction programme between the students and resource persons was held.
