Assam Rifles extends aid in upgrading science laboratory of school

Tamenglong, July 30 2024: Assam Rifles assisted the management of Christian Model English Higher Secondary School in Tamenglong district in upgrading facilities for the science laboratory and inaugurated the upgraded laboratory today.

Christian Model English Higher Secondary School, Tamenglong approached the Assam Rifles for provision of stores in its science laboratory in a bid to induce critical thinking and technical skills in the students, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.

Consequently, Salsons Impex Private Limited, New Delhi, assisted the Assam Rifles in this goodwill endeavour.

The funds were utilised for provision of equipment for the science laboratory which would enhance exploratory learning and encourage deeper engagement with Science.

As a part of the inaugural ceremony, the school also organised a science exhibition.

The winners were felicitated at the culmination of the event.

Assam Rifles worked on this opportunity to help the students of Christian Model English Higher Secondary School highlighting the importance of integrated science laboratories are essential to science education as they bridge the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge.

The school authority thanked the Assam Rifles for the timely aid.
