Awareness programme on voluntary blood donation held at Toubul

Bishnupur, September 29 2025: In connection with National Voluntary Blood Donation Day 2025, a one-day awareness programme on Blood Donation was held today at Ibudhou Sorarel Community Hall, Toubul, Bishnupur district.

The event, organised by Green Brigade Manipur in collaboration with Blood Centre JNIMS under the initiative of State Blood Transfusion Council, Manipur, also honoured 30 voluntary blood donors, including 21 women donors from Toubul, by presenting Lengyan Phee.

The event was attended by Administrative Committee Toubul GP chairperson, Thokchom Ningthemmani; Apunba Tengbang Lup president, Thoudam Shyamsundar; Moreh College Assistant Professor Thoudam Pholendro; and Green Brigade founder Elangbam Premjit as presidium members.

During the event, Elangbam Premjit, himself a voluntary blood donor and motivator of the State Blood Donor, also spoke as the resource person, encouraging more people to donate blood voluntarily and help save lives.
