Imphal, September 27 2026: The General Body Meeting of the Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS), Manipur was held on September 26 at its head office at Kabo Leikai, Imphal East, in presence of 67 representatives from its component and subsidiary organisations.

The meeting reviewed and adopted the report of the outgoing Central Committee and elected a new 20-member Central Committee for the term 2026-2029.Hemam Jogendro Meetei has been elected as president, Arambam Rabindra as vice-president, Ningthoujam Bhumeshwor as general secretary, Khundongbam Anand as joint secretary and Puyam Rakesh as IPR secretary cum spokesperson along with 15 executive members.
