State teacher shares best practices on national platform

Ghari Upper Primary School, Imphal West, principal Koijam Machasana was invited by the National Centre for School Leadership (NCSL) at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) to share her innovative ideas on "Leading joyful learning among students in Ghari Upper Primary School in Manipur".
She joined the NCSL's assistant professor Dr Shivakumar Kandekar during a live streaming programme held on Friday.
The programme, part of a series that airs every Friday from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm, focuses on emergent themes related to school leadership development.
During the programme, Machasana highlighted several successful practices and activities implemented at her school to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
She emphasised the importance of involving the community, conducting outreach activities and utilising teaching aids to create a more engaging learning environment apart from discussing on incorporating arts and crafts, diverse learning methods, and indigenous games, all of which contribute to a joyful and effective learning experience for the students.
The programme was broadcast live on PMeVIDYA DTH-TV Channels 6,9, and 12, as well as on the YouTube channel "NCERT Official" .
