Imphal, October 20 2026: Reaffirming its commitment to community welfare and educational empowerment, Assam Rifles organised a stationery distribution programme at Larong Khullen Government High School in Chandel district on October 19 .

As per a release issued by HQ IGAR(South), the initiative was aimed at addressing the academic needs of young learners, encouraging continuous education and motivating students to pursue their goals with dedication.

During the programme, stationery items were distributed to 15 students in the presence of five teachers.

The gesture brought smiles to the students and reflected the continued efforts of Assam Rifles to nurture young minds and enhance access to quality learning resources in remote border areas.

By identifying and supporting the educational requirements of local youth, the initiative helped uplift student morale and create a positive environment for learning.

The programme was highly-appreciated by the teaching staff and the local community, who lauded it as a meaningful contribution towards supporting-students and encouraging their academic growth.

Beyond providing essentialstudy materials, the interaction fostered goodwill and further, reinforced the enduring bond of trust and mutual respect between Assam Rifles and the local, population.
