Imphal, December 19 2008: WITH A MISSION to impart the knowledge of Meetei Mayek, Meetei Erol Eyek Loina Sillon Apunba Lup (MEELAL) in association with the club and meira paibis of the Wangkhem, had launched a Meetei Mayek teaching programme at Wangkhem Primary School today.

President MEELAL, Ngaseppam Yumjao was the president and uppa pradhan, Sh Sakhi was the President of the function.

Head Mistress, Keirao Wangkhem Primary School, Sh Memcha, Secretary meira paibi of Keirao Wangkhem, S Memma and Langoljam Nongmailembi were the guest of honour in the opening function.

A Meetei Mayek, Meetei Erol Eyek Loina Sillon Apunba Luppress release also said that prizes were also distributed to the successful winners of the competition held only for students of government schools in Imphal District between class II and IV on November 16 last at Langdum Primary School in the function today.
