'Jan Bhagidhari' IFX campaign launched

Imphal, May 18 2026: The District Administration, Imphal East on Monday launched the nationwide IEC Campaign "Jan Bhagidhari - Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle" at Keikhu Kabui Khul to create awareness on welfare schemes for tribal communities and conduct beneficiary saturation camps till May 25, 2026 .

The campaign seeks to ensure 100% coverage of eligible beneficiaries through awareness, enrolment, verification & delivery of entitlements.

Activities by line departments include health screenings for sickle cell anaemia, tuberculosis, cancer, diabetes and hypertension, alongside drives on tribal welfare schemes, pension schemes, nutrition, Aadhaar registration, bank account opening and tree plantation.

Jan Suwai programmes for grievance redressal will also be held.

Block Development Officer, Kshetrigao CD Block, appealed to residents of Keikhu to avail the benefits and services being provided at their doorstep during the camp.
