Jiribam, February 14 2025: Jiri College Students' Union (JCSU) organised a district level open debating competition on the topic 'Social media has escalated the present crisis in Manipur more than it has helped in conflict resolution' at Jiri College conference hall on Friday.

The competition participated by 14 students from various school and colleges of the district was attended by JCSU former general secretary Nameirakpam Budhachandra as chief guest, College principal RK Sanachaobi Devi as president and governing body ex-secretary Maipaksana Mangang as guest of honour.

Jiri College assistant professor Dr Arun Kumar acted as speaker of the competition winners of which were presented certificates and prizes at the end of the programme.
