Imphal, April 12 2025: Celebrating 100 years of Manipuri Drama, Critics Forum Manipur kicked off a two-day seminar at DIPR Hall, Keishampat under the theme "Manipur gi puwaribu sagonnana putharakpada performance ki thoudang" .

The event was graced by Longjam Joychandra, president, Manipuri Sahitya Parishad, Imphal and Dr Nongthombam Premchand, president, Critics Forum.

At the event, Ngariyanbam Khomba from the Pandit Loishang spoke about the role of royal kings and the Konung Loishang in preserving Manipuri history.

Meanwhile, Dr Lamabam Gojendra, retd Associate Professor tackled the topic of Churchand Maharaj and his gift to the Manipuri culture and theatre/drama.

Naoroibam Indramani, president, Naharol Sahitya Premi Samiti also graced the event.
