Imphal, July 11 2026: Ram Lal Paul 1982 Metric Alumni, in collaboration with Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School, on Saturday felicitated the school's meritorious students who secured first division in HSLCE 2026 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur.

The programme was held at the school hall in Keishamthong, Imphal.

Justice A Guneshwar Sharma, president of RLP 1982 Metric Alumni and Judge, High Court of Manipur, attended as chief guest.

Speaking at the event, Justice Guneshwar said Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School has been a reputed institution that has produced many good students.

The alumni are felicitating meritorious students to encourage academic excellence.

He added that what was once a boys' school is now co-educational, and expressed hope that more students would bring laurels to the school in coming years.

The alumni will continue to award prizes to meritorious students every year, he said.

School Principal H Padmini, Vice-Principal Nonibala, Alumni secretary H Debendro and others also attended.
