Prof Shanta motivates cadets

Imphal, July 10 2026: Sainik School Imphal on Friday organised a motivational interaction session for cadets with distinguished academician Prof Shanta Laishram, Professor of Mathematics and Head of Theoretical Statistics and Mathematics Unit at Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi.

Addressing the cadets, Prof Shanta shared his journey from school days to his present position.

He stressed determination, self-discipline, perseverance and a thirst for knowledge as key factors behind his success.

He urged cadets to set clear career goals early, identify their interests, work consistently and develop a lifelong habit of learning to excel in their chosen fields.

Welcoming the guest, Principal Colonel A Rajiv expressed gratitude and said such interactions broaden cadets' perspectives and motivate them to strive for excellence.
