Ramphoi Village Authority thanks Tangkhul Welfare Society for relief assistance

Kamjong, August 05 2026: The Ramphoi (Nampisha) Village Authority has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Tangkhul Welfare Society, Guwahati, for providing financial assistance of Rs 40,000 to families affected by the burning down of houses at Kherongroin (Sangkalok) and Huimine Thana Ramphoi by KNA-B and Kuki volunteers.

In a gratitude note issued by the village authority, it said the assistance came at a time when the affected families were facing immense hardship, suffering and displacement following the tragic incident.

The Village Authority acknowledged the empathy and concern shown by the Tangkhul Welfare Society, stating that the timely assistance had provided much-needed relief and hope to the affected families.

It further said the contribution would not only help the affected families rebuild their lives but also strengthen the bond of unity and humanity across communities.
