Felicitation / 50th birth anniversary of Salem Yang Gangmei held

Tamenglong, October 31 2024: A felicitation cum 50th birth anniversary celebration of Salem Yang Gangmei, Member, Collective Leadership of the NSCN/GPRN was held yesterday at Rongdai Common Ground, Rongdai village in Nungba Subdivision Headquarter.

The celebration was hosted by the Nungba Area Village Authority Association (NAVAA).

A series of traditional performances such as Baengngun Muanmei, Guailungthu Kakmei and Suaihiam Ravsuai, presentation of Ramvruan Lu and Haansiang Lam, the Ho Hoing and traditional drum beating, presentation of special song, hour of felicitation and many other programmes marked the celebration.

The event was attended by members and leaders of NSCN/GPRN of Zeilad Region, leaders and members of NSCN/GPRN from CHQ Hebron, leaders and members from different Rongmei CSOs, student organisations and people from all walks of life.
