Spot painting, poster contest conducted

Imphal, September 29 2025: Lions Club of Imphal Leimarol organised the Peace Poster Contest 2025 at Kids Foundation School, Ghari today on the theme, "Together as One".

The event was chaired by L Gambhini.

Sanahen Oinam of Pitambara English School secured the 1 st prize in the contest while Lanchensana Aribam of Kendriya Vidyalaya School won the 2nd prize and Leepun Ningthemcha of Maria Montessori School bagged the 3rd prize.

Winners of consolation prizes are - Cheeona Wakambam of Maria Montessori School, Retina Huirem of Millennium School, and Samraj Huirem of Kids Foundation.

Moreover, Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Ningshing Lup (LHINL) also organised a State Level Spot Painting Competition at the community hall in Khongjom Mangjil on September 28.About 80 students participated in the competition which was conducted under the theme, "Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Ki Wakhallon Adu Ayekpa Lai Oina Utlu" .

At the event, Thangjam Shubashhandra, president of LHINL, said that the competition was conducted with the aim to instill the principles of Lamyanba Irabot, a remarkable leader who strove selflessly for the upliftment of the working class and the needy among the younger generation.

He also shared that prizes to the winners of the competition will be distributed during the 'Lamyanba Hijam Irabot Ningshing Thouram' scheduled to be held on September 30 .
