Senapati, September 27 2026: Mount Everest College (Autonomous), Department of Teacher Education, celebrated Freshers' Day 2026 on September 26 at the College Auditorium Hall under the theme "New Beginnings: Endless Possibilities" .

The programme welcomed the new batch of teachereducation students and marked the beginning of their academic journey.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Laishram Vijaya Devi, Principal, emphasised the need for teachers to adapt to changing times and make learning meaningful and relevant.

She highlighted the importance of punctuality, professional ethics, empathy, positive thinking and knowledge-sharing among future educators.

The celebration provided the new students an opportunity to interact with peers and teachers, showcased their talents and begin their teacher-education journey with confidence and enthusiasm.
