AR organizes skill workshop in Chandel

In a commendable initiative aligned with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the Assam Rifles organized a skill workshop at Mocham Village, Chandel District.
The workshop was held aiming to empower local residents with practical skills and promoteself-reliance within the community, said a release issued by IGAR (S) .
The workshop covered essential modules such as first aid training, carpentry, painting, and basic electrical work.
By equipping participants with these vital skills, the Assam Rifles seeks to address the unique challenges faced by individuals in remote areas with limited opportunities for professional development, added the IGAR (S).
A total of 50 local residents participated in this workshop, which provided a platform for meaningful engagement and personal growth.
