Imphal, February 26 2026: As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen community relations and boost socio-economic development, 169 Battalion CRPF organised a Civic Action Programme at Kangchup village in Imphal West district today.

During the programme, sewing machines were handed over to needy villagers, empowering women and weaker sections with sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The event was attended by Suresh Kumar, Commandant, 169 Bn, CRPF; Md Yasser Abbasi, 2-I/C (ADM); Baljinder Singh, 2-I/C (OPS); Anish Kumar Sinha, Asstt Commandant; and Deepa Choudhary, Assistant Commandant among others.

CRPF officials highlighted the initiative's impact on uplifting families and communities, reaffirming their dedication to empowering local lives through such impactful programmes.
