Mushroom Cultivation Training concludes

Imphal, May 25 2026: A 15-day Skill Development Programme on Mushroom Cultivation, organised by NERAMAC with Biocert International Pvt Ltd as the training partner, concluded in Imphal today.

The training, which began on May 11, was held at the Farmers Training Hall of the Directorate of Agriculture, Sanjenthong.

Experts imparted both theoretical and practical knowledge on mushroom cultivation to the trainees.

As part of the programme, participants were taken on an exposure visit to Sharma Mushroom at Pangei, a successful local unit, where they received hands-on demonstrations on cultivation techniques, maintenance, and the right time and method for harvesting.

Certificates were distributed to all trainees at the valedictory function.

To help them start cultivation after the training, mushroom spawn was also provided to each participant.
