CRPF organises Civic Action Programme, unveils public toilet in Koutruk

Imphal, January 22 2026:
The 120 Battalion, CRPF under the aegis ofthe Inspector General, Manipur & Nagaland Sector, organised a Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025-26 at the Community Hall, Koutruk, Imphal West district on Thursday.
The programme was graced by Premjit Meetei, DIG Range CRPF Imphal as the chief guest, along with other distinguished dignitaries, village elders, and local residents.
A major highlight of the programme was the inauguration of a newly constructed public toilet block at Koutruk by the chief guest.
As per a release issued by CRPF, the initiative reflected the commitment of CRPF towards improving basic civic amenities, promoting hygiene, and enhancing the quality of life of the local population.
The villagers expressed their happiness and appreciation for the construction work carried out by CRPF in general and C/120 BN in particular, lauding the efforts of C coy under command of Sujoy Golui, Assistant Commandant.
The event also featured a vibrant cultural programme performed by the children of Koutruk, showcasing local traditions and fostering a spirit of harmony and cooperation between the Force and the community.
Premjit Meetei distributed gifts to the participants and delivered a motivational address emphasizing community participation and development.
Through the Civic Action Programme, 120 Bn CRPF under the leadership of Rajeev Lochan, Commandant of 120 Bn CRPF continues to strengthen its bond with the local populace by undertaking welfare-oriented activities, thereby contributing to peace, development, and mutual trust in the region.
Aditya Mishra, Second-In-Command, other officers of 120 Bn CRPF, local police officials, village leaders, and CRPF personnel attended the function.
