Imphal, August 19 2026: A Statelevel Legal Educational Programme on "Judicial Review on Constitutional Matter and Freedom of Expression in the Age of Social Media" was held on August 14 at Chirap Court Complex.

The programme was organised by the Bar Council of Manipur (BCM) in collaboration with the All Manipur Bar Association (AMBA) .

Presidium members included Sarangthem Brajabihari, senior advocate and chairman, BCM; Chakpram Bimolchandra, advocate and president, AMBA; Koijam Modhusudon, chairman, Legal Aid and Legal Education Committee; Salam Rupachandra, chairman, Executive Committee; and Nameirakpam Jotendro, chairman, Privilege Committee.

Nameirakpam Jotendro spoke as resource person on "Judicial Review on Constitutional Matter", while Salam Rupachandra spoke on "Freedom of Expression in the Age of Social Media" .
