Water supply from Ningthempukhri WTP suspended

Imphal, March 17 2026: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has announced a suspension of water supply from Ningthempukhri WTP due to maintenance work.

According to an appeal issued by the Executive Engineer.

W/S Maintenance Division No 2, PHED Manipur, water supply from Ningthempukhri WTP will remain suspended in areas including Ningthempukhri Makha Leirak, Sabi Leirak, Wangkhei Andro Parking, Nongmeibung Chakpram Leirak, Wangkhei St George Leirak, Guruaribam Leirak and areas covered by Aribam Leikai Zonal Reservoir due to maintenance of transformer at Mahabali intake.

It mentioned that water supply will resume after completion of the repair work.
