CRPF's Civic Action Programme continues

Imphal, December 15 2025: As part of its continuous efforts to reinforce relations between the Force and the local population, 189 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a Civic Action Programme at Tairenpokpi in Imphal West district today.

As per a release issued by CRPF, the programme was conducted with the aim to foster community development, promote civic engagement, and address key social issues.

Rajendra Narayan Dash, IG, M&N Sector CRPF graced the programme as the chief guest.

The IG interacted with the village chairman and members of local clubs and women organisations.

Rajendra Prasad, DIG, M&N Sector CRPF; PK Sahu, Commandant, 189 Bn CRPF; Devashish Nayak, Commandant Assam Regiment and all officers and jawans of 189 Bn CRPF were present at the event.

As a part of the programme, 3 looms and 10 sewing machines were distributed to United Public Development Club of Tairenpokpi.
