112 Bn CRPF organises 'Fit India Freedom Run 6.0'

In a spirited show of unity and health consciousness, the 112 Battalion of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Kangpokpi, organised the Fit India Freedom Run 6.0 yesterday at the District Headquarters.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local boys and girls, members of the civil police, and CRPF personnel.
Officials of the 112 Bn CRPF underscored the importance of such initiatives in promoting discipline, endurance, and unity among the youth.
"Fitness is not merely about physical strength; it reflects our national spirit, our readiness, and our collective responsibility to stay healthy and active," said an officer during the event.
The participants ran through the main streets of Kangpokpi, carrying banners and chanting slogans advocating the message - "Fitness Ka Dose, Aadha Ghanta Roz!" The run also served to foster camaraderie between security forces and the local populace.
The event concluded with a pledge by all participants to make physical activity a daily habit and to spread awareness on the importance of fitness across all age groups.
The Fit India Freedom Run was launched under the nationwide Fit India Movement.
The 6th edition continues the Government of India's mission to build a "Fit India, Fit Nation," highlighting that a strong and resilient nation begins with physically and mentally fit citizens.
