CMC student bags first prize at Indian Orthopaedic Association event

Imphal, August 09 2026: A student of Churachandpur Medical College (CMC) secured the first prize at the Indian Orthopaedic Association, CSRC 2026, held at Hand Hospital, Langthabal, on August 3.Students from RIMS secured the second position, while a participant from Shija Hospitals bagged the third position in the competition.

In a statement, CMC said the achievement was particularly significant as the institution continues to face various challenges and difficulties.

Competing against participants from leading medical institutions, the CMC student emerged with the top prize, bringing recognition to the college.

The Director of CMC, along with the teaching and nonteaching staff, congratulated the student for their achievement and wished them continued success in their academic and professional pursuits.
