NIT Manipur to award degrees to 299 students at 13th Convocation

Imphal, August 03 2026: The 13th Annual Convocation of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur will be held tomorrow at City Convention Centre, Imphal.

Addressing a press meet at the institute in Langol, Director Prof DVLN Somayajulu said 299 students will receive degree certificates during the convocation.

Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand will attend as chief guest, while NIT Manipur Board of Governors Chairman Bajrang Lal Bagra will preside.

Gold Medals will be awarded to Shreya Pandey (CSE), Rishu Raj (ECE), Marshal Mayanglambam (Civil), Angom Lyndasana (Mechanical), and Kshetrimayum Sanjeev (Electrical).

Prof Somayajulu also said NIT Manipur signed an MoU with IIT Jodhpur for joint B.Tech and M.Tech programmes.
