Induction training programme concludes

Imphal, July 03 2026: The five-day Induction Training Programme on "Institutional Governance and Financial Management" concluded today at the Conference Hall of the College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, Central Agricultural University, Imphal.

The valedictory programme was graced by Prof Indira Sarangthem, Coordinator, NIRF Ranking & FDP, CAU; Prof K Nandini Devi, Dean, College of Agriculture; and Prof SM Feroze, Department of Agricultural Economics, as presidium members.

Prof SM Feroze presented a brief report on the training, highlighting key sessions and noting that resource persons from reputed institutions across India shared their expertise.

Prof K Nandini Devi congratulated the participants and urged them to apply the acquired knowledge to enhance the University's performance.

Prof Indira Sarangthem said this was the first such induction programme for newly recruited Assistant Registrars, Assistant Comptrollers, and administrative staff.

She lauded the experts for imparting practical administrative insights and added that similar subject-wise governance training programmes will be organised in future.

A total of 22 newly recruited administrative staff participated in the programme.
