The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee has filed a complaint with the City Police against open threat to "eliminate" Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
The complaint was filed by MPCC president K Meghachandra today.
The complaint alleged that leaders of the BJP and its allies have issued open threats to "eliminate" Rahul Gandhi and urged the police to register an FIR for taking strong legal action against those who have issued such threats.
After filing the complaint, MPCC president K Meghachandra spoke to reporters and said the leaders of the BJP and its allies issuing threats and intimidating Rahul Gandhi are a criminal act and undemocratic.

Leaders of the BJP and its allies have falsely declared Rahul Gandhi as the number one terrorist and a reward of Rs 11 lakh has been announced for anyone who can cut Rahul Gandhi's tongue.
These threats are criminal and undemocratic.
Congress condemns it in the strongest terms," Meghachandra further said.
