The last rites of PREPAK(Pro)'s Red Army's Lance Corporal Nongmaithem Boneysana alias Nongdon who was said to have been killed while protecting the boundary of Manipur were performed today with a Pangong replica of his body.
Boneysana's body replaced by a Pangong was put inside a special coffin called Keiren Keijao and a large number of people paid floral tributes to the martyred revolutionary fighter at his Wangkhei Angom Leikai residence.

After reaching Palace Gate, the procession turned back and brought the Keiren Keijao to the local crematorium located near the office of Wangkhei Angom Leikai United Youth Club.
The last rites were performed there as per religious customs.
