Moirang, December 20 2021: BJP National spokesperson Sambit Patra has expressed confidence that BJP will win more than 45 seats in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election, 2022.Sambit Patra made the remark while speaking at 'Eigi Emung BJP gi Emung' campaign held at the residence of BJP Nambol Mandal president Salam Brajamani at Nambol Bazar.

During the previous Congress rule, the development works at the grassroots level were moving at a snail's pace and were hindered by the elected members who were never available to listen to the grievances of the public, he claimed.

Such problems have been solved with the coming of the BJP Government as BJP leaders and workers have started reaching out to the people at their doorstep to listen to their grievances and needs.

Meanwhile, BJP State unit president A Sharda has said that BJP is the only party which can safeguard Manipur, work for the welfare of the people and the only party that listens to people.

A Sharda said this while kicking off the 'Eigi Emung BJP gi Emung' campaign at the residence of MDS chairman M Asnikumar, who is preparing to contest the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election from Thanga AC today.

Speaking at the event, A Sharda said the campaign is being organised Nationwide to give awareness about the work done by BJP for the people and also reach out to the people and find out whether the beneficiary schemes launched by the Government is reaching the people or not.

Adding that the campaign will be beneficial to the party, A Sharda exuded confidence that BJP will win more than 40 seats in the upcoming election.

More than 3000 eminent personalities have also spoken very highly of BJP, which clearly shows that BJP is the only party that can save and develop the State, she added.

Giving jobs does not necessarily mean giving a Government job but ensuring that the people are able to earn a living by utilizing their own skills and to aid in this, the BJP Government has launched various schemes, she added.

The Nation has moved forth and the people have expressed their trust in BJP with its working model of 'Sabke Saath Sabka Vikas Aur Sab Ka Vishwas' and now we need to move ahead with Sabka Prayas (everyone's effort), A Sharda added.

Maintaining that a vision is needed in order to complete a plan, A Sharda said BJP's farsighted vision will ensure that Thanga AC also has a BJP elect in the upcoming election.

Speaking at the programme, M Asnikumar said they are planning to complete the campaign in his AC within the next seven days.

He added that the coming of BJP Government has brought peace in the State which was a distant dream during the Congress rule.

More than 6000 people of the AC have joined BJP recently all because of the citizen centric governance of the BJP Government, he added.
