Imphal, April 16:
Asking five persons, who have been rusticated from the party but yet continuing to extort money from various Departments of the Government of Manipur by misusing the name of Marson Kuki who had already been discharged from duty as the information and publicity secretary of KLO/KLA on medical ground, to surrender to the army commander in-chief of the outfit Timothy Kuki within April 20, the outfit has warned of taking up action against them if they fail to do so.
Talking to mediapersons in this regard at the tactical headquarters of KLO/KLA today, information and publicity secretary of the outfit Addy Kuki appealed to the people to inform or contact either the finance secretary Robinson Kuki or the town commander of Imphal area Eagle Kuki if they come across extortion demand being served in the name of KLO/KLA to Government Departments or among the general public.
Identifying the five persons who have been asked to surrender as Seikhohao alias Marvin Kuki, Ngamlet alias Jamdil Kuki, Paokholun Kuki, Arjun Kuki or Jackson Meitei, Addy Kuki said the five persons have already been rusticated from the party and, thus, their activities have tarnished the image of the party.
All five of them should surrender to the army commander in chief within April 20 and if they fail to do so then KLO/KLA would not hesitate in laying hands on them, he warned.
While asserting that after Marson Kuki was discharged from the duty of the outfit, there has been no one by the name of Marson Kuki in KLO/KLA.
So, the statement signed by one Marson Kuki and issued to the press instead of signing by Addy Kuki is misleading to the people and people should not be taken by it.
Army in-chief of the outfit Tri-muthi Kuki was also present at the conference.
