Imphal, August 14 2024: The All Manipur Ethnical Socio-Cultural Organisation (AMESCO) has claimed that they have brought AMFA to senses for organising a rock concert under the banner "Athouba Singda Katchaba" at Khuman Lampak turf ground on the Patriots Day which insulted the heroes of Manipur, hurt the sentiment of the people and violated the land's cultural ethic.

According to a press release issued by AMESCO, AMFA General Secretary Laiphangbam Jyotirmoy, AMFA Technical Chairman Ibotombi Thangjam and executive member Sanasam James Kumar came to the office of AMESCO today and gave a clarification to the people through the media.

AMFA General Secretary Jyotirmoy apologised to the public for the rock concert and the associated revelry and assured that AMFA would see such incidents do not happen in the future, according to the AMESCO's press release.

Meanwhile, AMESCO has asked all those involved in organising the event as well as those people who gave consent for organising the event to come to their office.
