Cancelled MCS exam to be held on Nov 26

Imphal, November 11 2025:
The examination for Paper-IV (General Studies-III) and Paper-V (General Studies-IV) of the Manipur Civil Services Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination (MCSCCE), 2022, has been rescheduled to November 26.Paper-IV will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon on November 26 (not November 22 as announced earlier), followed by Paper-V from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm on the same day.
Notably, the Paper-IV and Paper-V exams, originally scheduled for November 9, were cancelled after an incorrect question paper was distributed to candidates during the morning session.
A notification issued by MPSC Controller of Examinations Kh Lalmani stated that the rescheduling was done in response to representations received from MCSCCE, 2022 candidates who have also qualified for and are appearing in the UPSC's Indian Forest Service (IFS) Main Examination which will be held from November 16 to 23 .
In its clarification the Manipur Public Service Commission had held the Secured Printing Press responsible for the goof up.
The Commission advised candidates to regularly check its official website for any further updates and added that all other terms and conditions, including the venue and timing of the examination, remain unchanged.
It further clarified that the previously issued e-admit cards will remain valid for the rescheduled papers.
