Manipur records one new Covid case

Imphal, June 10 2025:
Manipur has reported one fresh case of COVID-19 amid a surge of the contagious disease in different parts of the country.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 6,815, as of 8 am on June 10, according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's (MoH&FW) .
According to the Ministry bulletin, the COVID-19 death toll in India, since January this year is 68 so far, with three new deaths reported till 8 am on June 10 .
According to reports received by The Sangai Express, the fresh Covid case was detected through a Truenat test conducted at Babina Diagnostic.
The individual who tested positive for Covid is a 23-year-old woman, a student from Bishnupur, who lives in a rented room in Imphal West.
She had no travel history prior to testing positive and had undergone the Covid test as a requirement for an internship programme in Hyderabad.
She is currently in Hyderabad.
The reports stated that the woman is healthy and exhibits minimal Covid symptoms.
Kerala currently has the maximum number of active Covid cases at 2,053, followed by Gujarat at 1,109 and West Bengal at 747 .
