CRPF organises 'Sunday on Cycle' rally

Imphal, August 30 2026: Under the aegis of IG M&N Sector and supervision of Saurabh Kumar Choudhary, Commandant, 86 Battalion CRPF, a "Sunday on Cycle" rally was organised by 86 Bn CRPF in Lamphelpat area, Imphal today in continuation to the rally collaborated with SAI.

The rally was flagged off by Saurabh Kumar Choudhary in presence of W Nandini Devi, Second-in-Command, 86 Bn CRPF and officers of the unit with the theme "Nasha Mukt Bharat", focusing on the slogan "Say Yes to Fitness, Say No to Drugs".

The rally aimed at promoting cycling as an eco-friendly, inclusive and sustainable way to fight lifestyle diseases like obesity, boost cardiovascular health and build community fitness and also in connection with National Sports Day.

The cycle rally started from 86 Bn HQ Lamphelpat and passed through Sanakeithel, RIMS, Thangmeiband, Fishery post, ICAR Lamphelpat and culminated at 86 Bn HQ.

The event concluded with renewed commitment by all officers and personnel to uphold the highest traditions of the Force.
