Thoubal, August 30 2025: The District Legal Services Authority, Thoubal, in collaboration with Legal Aid Clinic, Kiyam Leitanpok and ANJUMAN organised a legal awareness programme at ANJUMAN Office in Lilong on Friday.

Held under the initiative of Manipur State Legal Services Authority, the programme was attended by secretary of DLSA Thoubal, Kshetrimayum Maheta Devi; SDPO Thoubal, O Ajit Singh; Lilong OC K Subhash Singh; and secretary of ANJUMAN, MV Habibullah Nadwi as presidium members.

During the programme, Md Zakir Hussain, Advocate, delivered a lecture on "Drug Abuse and Drug Addiction Schemes & NDPS Act", while Mayanglambam Swami Singh, Advocate, spoke on "POCSO Act" as a resource person.

Around 200 people participated in the programme.
